Due to the refresh rate limitation, Safari has issues such as scrolling freezes on the 120Hz MacBook Pro model. The current version of Safari is limited to a refresh rate of 60Hz. However, adding a 120Hz refresh rate is a Safari problem that users have been complaining about since the release of the new MacBook Pro. Just like the smooth scrolling experience of the iPad Pro and the new iPhone 13 Pro/Max series, Apple promises that the high refresh rate of the new display will make “tasks such as scrolling web pages super smooth.” One of the big surprises at Apple’s “come to bombing the field” conference was that these MacBook Pro 2021 laptops added support for 120Hz ProMotion.
